The camera is optional. Document images and recognized text are stored on this PC. H1Soft does not receive document contents, usage analytics or crash reports.
Text recognition uses the languages installed in Windows. Add missing recognition languages in Windows Settings. Availability and results depend on the PC and language.
Use Trash to permanently delete documents. Removing the app may leave local data and exported files behind. Remove those files separately and keep your own backups.
Saving, sharing and printing send files to the destination you choose. Windows language downloads and system services are managed by Microsoft.
On-device translation is unavailable in this Windows edition.

Privacy policy
Document scanning and text recognition run on your device. H1Soft does not collect your documents or recognized text on a server. When you choose to share, export or back up, files go to the app or location you select. Text recognition varies by device and document language.
Deleted documents stay in Trash for up to 30 days and can be permanently removed there at any time. Uninstalling removes internal app data. Exported files and external backups must be deleted separately from their saved locations.
The camera is used to photograph documents; the photo picker imports images you select. Language resources for recognition or translation may download from the operating system or model provider. Usage analytics and crash reports are not sent to H1Soft servers.
Email us with questions or bug reports. Include your device model and operating system version to help us investigate. Please do not send original documents containing sensitive information.

Android: Google ML Kit data processing
The Android app uses Google ML Kit. Recognition inputs and results are processed on your device; ML Kit does not send their content to Google. Separately, the SDK sends installation identifiers, device/app information and usage, performance and error metrics to Google for diagnostics, API maintenance and improvement, and abuse prevention. Transmission is encrypted with HTTPS.
Google Play services-based features such as document scanning may also use a device identifier. Translation includes configured source/target languages and Firebase Remote Config/Installations diagnostics. Model downloads and updates also use the network.
Google processes information on servers in multiple countries. H1Soft does not configure the processing countries or retention period for these SDK metrics. The ML Kit public documentation reviewed does not specify a country list or fixed retention period for these metrics. See the official Google policies below for its processing and retention practices.
This notice concerns Android and does not describe the iOS recognition implementation. Clearing app history or uninstalling does not mean previously transmitted Google metrics are immediately deleted. For privacy questions and rights requests, contact H1Soft support or use the contact options in Google’s privacy policy.
