Frequently asked questions
Can I take the test on the web?
Yes. Take the test right in your browser without installing the app. Meet your character, see your result, and share your result card.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed in the app or on the web. Start right away, without an email address or phone number.
Where is my data stored?
The app stores results on your device. The web test runs in your browser. Sharing a result is always your choice.
Do I lose my results if I change phones?
In the app: Export your data to a file in Settings, then import it on the new one. There is no server, so there is no automatic backup — export before you wipe the old phone.
Is this the official MBTI assessment?
No. Mongle is an independent personality quiz with questions we wrote ourselves. It is entertainment, not the official MBTI assessment or a psychological diagnostic tool, and its results do not establish scientific accuracy.
Is the app available in English?
Yes. Choose English or another supported language in Settings. The app supports 11 language variants.
What is the difference between the 12- and 40-question tests?
The 12-question quick test takes about a minute. The 40-question version explores more everyday situations. Both show four personality dimensions and one of 16 character results.
Can I share my personality test result?
Yes. Copy a result link or save your result card as an image on the web. Supported browsers also let you use your device’s share menu.
