QR Scanner Privacy Policy

1. General

This policy applies to the QR Scanner app ("the app") from H1Soft ("the team"). The team complies with applicable law, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

2. On-device by design

Every feature runs on your device. Scanned and generated QR data and history are never sent to a server, and the team cannot access them. The app works with no network connection.

3. What we collect

The app collects no information that identifies you — no name, contact details or account. There is no sign-up and no login.

4. Stored on your device

The following is stored only in device storage and never leaves it.

• Scan history — the content of recognised QR codes and the time of recognition. Deletable individually or all at once
• Creation history — the type, input values and time of QR codes you create. Deletable the same way
• App settings — language, display mode and other preferences

5. Permissions

Permissions are used only for the purposes below. Declining one leaves every other feature usable.

• Camera — real-time QR recognition. Frames are never stored and are discarded immediately after recognition
• Photos and media — only to recognise a QR code in an image you pick. Nothing beyond the selected image is accessed
• Storage write — only to save a QR image you generated

6. Sharing, processors, overseas transfer

Because the app collects no personal information, there is no sharing, no processor and no overseas transfer. The app contains no analytics SDK.

7. Deletion

On-device data is removed the moment you clear history or uninstall the app. The team holds no copy.

8. Your rights

As the app collects nothing, there is no stored record subject to access, correction or deletion requests. You control all on-device data directly.

9. Children

The app collects no personal information from any user, including children under 14.

10. Changes

When this privacy policy changes, we post the change and its effective date on this page and in the app. Changes unfavourable to users are announced at least 30 days before they take effect.
